Catching up

Just want to catch up on what I have been doing lately...

Sat, snow storm. Stayed home. Got up at 12:30 pm. Did a long run in the treadmill. No fun. This long run I was running w/ no fuel. Also no fuel = low sugar level. To pass the time, I was watching Charlie's Angels 2 on TV. Definitely not fun.

Eat like a pig afterwards. Instead of saddling up for a ride. I took a nap. Woke up and had dinner and plow the driveway. I enjoy shoveling. Give me a peace of mind.

Sun, didn't do too much. 30 min on the trainer before church. Had a coffee w/ a friend. Spent the night not doing much and go to bed.

Yesterday after work, I picked up my dad from the Train station (he commutes to work). Instead of driving back, I did a run. Did a few hill repeats. Fun fun fun. This time I kept my HR in check (Z1-Z2). I bought a fruit bar with me. No bonking here.

Last Wed at prayer meeting, I was sharing that I am on the verge of burning out. I am glad the snowstorm was here (I am sure everyone in my area do not). It cleared my schedule and let me relax.

I am heading to Boston this Fri :). Short week for me =D

Glad the snowstorm gave you a little break. We all need those from time to time, probably more often than not.

Good timing, Cliff. Burning out in March is NOT a good idea.

Have a good trip.
