Christmas 2006 In and Out

1. I bought new clothes. Two dress shirts, two under shirts, belt and a pair of casual dress shoes. A whole year of shopping done in a few days :) I am tempted to get more shirts BUT I figure I have enough in my closet already. Always need more tri gears though :D

2. My mom had been stealing borrowing my fuel belt bottle. So I brought an extra one for her. The bottle comes in a pack of four. So one for her and three for me =). I also got a second pair of running socks.

3. My butt is healing nicely. Thanks everyone for their concern. It's about time I get back in the game.

Sun (1 hr run)
Mon (1 hr 30 min run)
Today (1 hr run + 15 min bike)

Legs are taking it well given that last week I done nothing. My HRM died (suspect no battery). So to make sure I am running in the desired heart rate, I sing.

If you live where I live and you see a crazy nut running around blasting out (horribly) songs from the Goo Goo Dolls, yeah, that's me.

4. Ordered two Spinerval dvds..hmm :) One of them is a 5+ hour training video!! Darren (who told me to get that DVD), you are gonna kill me.

5. Sunday night, my family had Popeye chickens and red wine. Hmm...yes we are very festive :). Good food and good talks.

6. Last Dec, I weighted 145. Right now, I am 152. Am I worry? No. I do need to focus on my nutrition/diet. Since holiday is over, chocolate is out the door :)

7. Church had a number of Christmas events. Very nice.

Holiday is quite lax in my part. Lots of chilling. Life is good.

A 5 hour Spinerval! OMG! The 3 hour Tough Love is hard enough! Be sure to write a review.

I'm glad you had a great Christmas!

You'll have to let us know how the 5 hour spinerval workout goes. I like using spinervals. You need to let all other sweets go and stick to dark chocolate to take care of your sweet tooth cravings. Dark chocolate has antioxidiants in them which helps your immune system.

Aye carumba - a 5+ hr spinervals?!?!?!

I suggest you keep the phone handy in case you need to call 911 to rescue you from it before it ends. *lol*

Actually, I'll be interested in what you have to say about it.

By your post you seem very content with yourself right now. Thats a good place to be. I keep going between lazy and manic. Not a good place to be.

Chilling IS good...

5 hours on the trainer doesn't sound like my idea of fun. :(

Heya Cliffy! I say if you can do a 5 hr spinerval session - you can do anything. If you want, sometime in March, head up north, I'll get the fans out, line up a buffet of food and share the pain.

That should help shed a few of those extra pounds! Cheers.

For some reason I doubt you have any problem with weight issues!

It sounds like you had a nice Christmas!

Glad to hear your life is good, Cliff! (we'll see how good it is when you're at the 4.75 hour mark on your bike with the Spinervals video--hee hee!!!) HAPPY NEW YEAR, CLIFF!

Sounds like a great X'mas break!

Is Mom taking up running or just finds the fuel bottle a good size water bottle?

My favorite Spinervals is Have Mercy. It's only 2 hours, but I've used it for years and never get tired of it since it includes parts from other spinervals workouts.
