Sat - Long Bike 225' (100 km) + Brick 20' (~ 4 km)
- HR kept between 140-170
- right quad is a bit tired
Sun - Swim 1 km (~ 24') + Bike ~25 km (~50') + Run ~ 4 km (25')
- pre race meal, mental preparation, transition practice, mental focus
- HR kept between 140-169
I am ready for next Sun. I am looking for a hotel right now. Just waiting for all the feedback. There is one place available. Woohoo. Next time book early.
One of the mental thinking I have been doing lately is the training I have gone through during the winter time. If I could get up at 5 in the morning, walk in freezing cold to the pool to swim. I can do this. If I can run in freezing cold weather, I can do this. All those past training helped a lot in confidence building.
I am off to play some beach vball.

Oh you are so ready! I'm sorry I didn't reply to you about the wetsuit and the pool. You can swim with the wetsuit in the pool but you have to make sure you rinse it out really well afterwards. It's not the best for the suit but doing it occassionally isn't too bad.
One week out Cliff- go easy this week and re-charge for Muskoka!
