Sleeping now..

It is 9:20 pm and I am heading to bed. I rarely sleep this early. Tomorrow morning run at 5:30. I want to do my long run before work so I can go to my church's prayer meeting at night.

Thanks for all the encouragement...all I can say is that the next few years it will be a wild ride..these few days have been herectic (as usual). Last week I miss a few swim drills. This week i want them back.

They predict tomorrow morning will feel like -4* F. Nuts :)...I am going to make sure I carry my gel inside my jacket. I hope it doesn't freeze :D. Then again, it would be quite hilarious to have my tongue stuck in the gel flask :D

Yes, you are a brave soul to venture out in minus zero temps but good for you to keep your heart faithful for prayer and fellowship. Peace.

Hope your run went well. Gotta love those early morning "bringing-up-the-sun-runs" in the last few cold days winter has left in her.

I just checked the weather report and it says it feels like -12F!!! Damn. That's dedication. Hope you had one of those awesome "lava rock sky" sunrises to get your blood flowing.

Cliff -

Make sure you run with the gel flask nozzle pointed down. Even in warm weather, if you put it in your pocket nozzle up, you'll never get the last half out.

Good luck!

Yup, it was 6 with the WC here this am when I ran. Fun! It sure feels great to have that run under my belt though. Way to go!

that WOULD be funny..but in my experience, gels don't freeze very easily. that's kind of weird, actually. what's in them that makes them stay liquid? i'm kind of grossed out...
