I can KICK....(kinda)

I guess swimming is like riding a bike. You fall enough times you will eventually get it.

Last night with the Coach, out of nowhere I can kick. I could feel it. My feet were fluttering, instead of stiffening.

I still kick slowly compare to my class. But at least I am kicking :)...Sweet...

We did more TI drills. Mostly with the hands and stroking. This stuff is really good. They really take u one step at a time. First the kick. Then the balance. Then the underarm. Then the zipper line switch. Then rotate. The class is going too fast for me. I am making sure I remember each drill so that I can do them in my own time. Practice makes swimming.

Our last class is this Sun from 10 - noon. Will try to get more chlorine time in before then. Coach was saying he wanted to record me swimming after the lessons. This is what you get when you are the worst swimmer (sinker) in the class. You have no where to go but up. :)

Well done on the kick. Nothing's gonna stop you, once you "get" it.

The video session will help you a lot, Cliff. What you "think" you are doing and your body is actually doing are usually two different things. The video will show you that so you can fix it.

I can't believe you said you had coaching to do stuff "Mostly with the hands and stroking. This stuff is really good."

Heh. Heh. Heh.

if you can do the zipper drill without sinking then you're on your way to being a good swimmer. do that drill and switch drills as much as possible they are great balance drills.

Sweet, Cliff can kick! Your coach probably wants to film you so he can show everyone how much you improved. That's what you get when you're the most improved and most determined.

one piece at a time. A good swim form is harder to find than a golf swing

Cliff, this is not like you. You haven't posted today. Are you OK? I need to hear more on the life of Cliff. This is like tearing out the last chapter of a good book. I need to know what happens next!
