Rest vs Training...
Today I am suppose to wake up at 6 am to go for a run. Instead I woke up at 8:30 and went to work. Do I feel guilty for not running? Somewhat.
However, I do believe at times it is more important get enough rest. This is such important that I will skip a training or two [the only exception is my long runs where they are to build my base].
I got up at 6 and I felt really tired. My legs are a bit achy and my eyes don't want to open. I figure since I haven't had enough sleep in the weekend (Fri night 3 hr, Sat night 5 hr, Sun afternooon 5 hr, Sun night 6 hr), my body still need more rest. It also might have to do with the fact that I am starting to run again and my body need to get adjust to it.
Either way I feel more refresh at work. Ten hours of sleep sure do wonders.
Hehe..I use to dislike ppl who likes to sleep a lot...I associate that with laziness...now I am one of them...oh the irony :)
