Toad!

http://images-cdn01.associatedcontent.com/image/A2867/28673/300_28673.jpg

I went to the doc last fri to check my toe. He told me I got a wart! He pour some liquid ice on it and told me to come back the next five weeks for treatment to get rid of the bacteria.

I asked him if I could train and he told me no problem :) *sigh of relieve*

I also managed to get my doc to sign me a note so I can get sport messages and covered by my company's plan > :).

So there you have it. I am a toad with a wart on my toe :)

The pass weekend was up north watch the Bible Quiz kids in their tournament. It was great. I eat and slept a lot. Yesterday did a run in the morning and saw a moose crossing the road. It was a big and gentle beast.

Yeah work has been busy for the past few weeks. I just signed up for the World Transplant Games in Australia in Aug. Vacation request accepted, games registered, and now I need to book a plane ticket.

I did the Canada Transplant Games last year and I signed up for way too many events. I ended up killing myself (especially in the swim). This year I signed up for three.

I was originally going for two (sans Road Race). I got greedy and why not do one more. I am bringing my tri bike over. Now I just need to find a roadie to do the road race.

For now, I got a half mary this Sun. It is in my home town and it will be fun (or pain..or both).

Ooh, sounds like a great excuse to go to Down Under! Maybe you can rent a bike? Either way, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Good luck on your half mary this weekend!

Good luck with the World Transplant Games. That should be a fantastic experience.

Yeah, likely fun and pain on the half-mary!
