Whole wheat might not be good for you....

A few days ago, I was buying some food to store in my desk. During afternoon, I get hungry and tired of eating junk from the cafe.

I was buying Premium Plus Crackres and notice there is a whole wheat version as well. Out of curiosity I checked the nutrition fact and compared it with the plain version. This is what I found:

Plain version

Whole Wheat

If we do the math:

Each Plain cracker contains = 20 mg sodium
Each Whole Wheat cracker contains = 30 mg sodium

The whole wheat has more fiber but I do not like the sodium amount. Either genetics or the medication I am taking for my transplant, I tend to have a semi higher blood pressure. I tried to keep my sodium intake low.

I bought the plain crackers.....

Wow, that's a good observation. Other than fiber, those wheat crackers don't look good. I've bought them before too.
