Soreness all over.

I didn't do anything last night. I got home and slept at 6. I woke up at 3:30 am this morning. Body is aching all over. Snowboarding is quite a workout.

Went to the pool this morning and planned to do some endurance swimming. I am way too tired. I had trouble breathing. It felt like everytime I took a breathe, I am taking in nothing instead of air.

Did some TI drills. Now at work. See how my body is..today my schedule is to do a bike drill and some yoga. If I am still too tired, I will just do yoga and rest some more.

Yoga is good - just do that, and you will recover quickly

Yeah, since I ski about once a year now, those day-afters are pretty rough. I use a whole different set of muscles trying to scrape myself up out of the snow.

I still love it though and will try snow boarding after my IM.

Yoga should help. Keep lightly active for recovery. Zone 1 work.

Any bruises?

Yes, if you are tired, then rest some more. Yoga will be good for you.

SNOWBOARDING - UGH! I busted my tail learning to Snowboard this Christmas Holiday... I was sore for days ....

RECOVER - Sounds like your body is begging for it!!

Yoga could be a good alternative...

Amazing the different muscles groups used when we do different sports, thats why triathlon training is so great. Imagine if you didn't work all those different muscles and then jumped on the snowboard. Triathlons saved your day today!

i have never snowboarded. I am willing to give a go but it never works out. I guess living in the desert dosen't help for convienence either.

I've been meaning to get into skiing. Is it similar to the soreness you get when water skiing? I'm assuming it's a full body workout.

Ugh. That sounds like the bad kind of soreness instead of the good kind. Hopefully, it only lasts a day or two.

Lets us know how the yoga helps. Happy Valentine Day.

And continue to relax during the swim. :) Remember not to fight the water!

Ouch, snowboarding. I watched Shaun White win the gold - he makes it look easy, but I know it is anything but. Go get a massage and get some of that lactic acid outta there!
