Have you ever seen a swimming rock?

When I am busy, my appetite goes out the window. This morning I didn't eat breakfast and only had two Clif shot before my workout. It is now 1:30 pm before I am eating. No good.

Busy with work..really need to get this networking done. The worst part being in IT is that a lot of time u can only do upgrades during off hours. :) Need prayer here.

I did my long swim last night. It was good. I could really feel the glide. The coach told me to swim in set of 200s. I swim 200 and take a break. My break last from 45-55 seconds. I get back in the water once my breathing drops back down. By the last sixth set, I felt a muscle pull on my left foot. Never happened before. I waited until the pain died down and beared out the last set.

When I go faster, I don't have to kick as much. So I stroke, stroke, stroke, breath + kick. An improvement compare to two weeks ago.

Last Fri, the Coach took some pic of me swimming for his website. Well, he sent me one of them. Now...here is the pic of a swimming rock...enjoy :)

At least you aren't at the bottom of the pool!

I agree, your on the surface!! Thats the first priority, Stay on Top. That can apply to many things in life. Good Luck. (with your swimming and any other thing this would apply to)

Speaking of networking...you get that job?

Those foot cramps are so wierd. The only time I've ever gotten them is when I'm in the pool.

Form looks pretty good to me- especially when you say you are feeling the glide-that's a great feeling. Now, how you can go that long without food is beyond me...

You are a rock - mentally and physically strong. And yeah that's some awesome swimming from a rock.

Good form! I think the foot cramps come from trying too hard to point our toes when kicking. Wish I had those ballet lessons when I was younger...

What's wrong with the swimming pic? Looks fine to me.

Don't skip your meals. I noticed on Sunday how important it is too feed yourself properly.

Nice form, fish!

Yeah, you need to eat, Dude. Body needs fuel. Pure and simple. Find a way, make it happen. :-) Even if you're busy. I pack a lunch full of travel-safe snacks (granola bar, raisins, etc.)... It's pretty rare that ppl don't see me eating. I even take them to meetings.

You're doing great, Clif!

There will always be problems and things nededing to get done in IT. I know I'm in it(IT) too. Can't let it overwhelm you. Find the secret of handling IT by prioritizing.

You rock (verb NOT noun)!

I wondered what you were talking about when I read the title!

Straighten out your legs, Cliff. You're creating drag by having them bent like that. Kick from the hips, not the knees. Looks good otherwise, Fishy-man.

Hey--no Bart in the pool??????????

not bad form, there! congrats...and the foot thing happens when you run before swimming and don't stretch enough...

Cool picture! It would be funny if you had Bart in the pool with you!
