Weekly review.

It is 10:13 pm and I am tired. I ate about 1/2 of my dinner and I can't finish it.

I am just looking at my weekly training. Earlier this week, I posted the perfect training. It looks insane. This is the first time I am seriously training (or training seriously?).
I have missed one run drill and two swim drill. I missed them b/c I slept too late reading "It ain't about the bike". I couldn't wake up the next day to train.

My goal for this coming week is to accomplish every one of this training I set out to do. Monday after work is usually my free time to train. But we have a hearing in the city council. It has to do with zoning problems and our Church expansion. Our Church would like to use the expansion to open up a Christian School. With the new rezone laws, we can't do that. So tomorrow at 7 pm there is a hearing. So I am going to flip my training around. I will workout in the morning and swim after the hearing.

Time to head to bed now. :)

Hey Cliff, at my nutrition seminar she spoke very highly about the Paleo Diet book. In fact, she totally endorses the book. Way to go, you're a forward thinker.

Remeber training plans are guids and you need to be flexible ... sometimes when you are tired you need that extra hour os so in bed

Have fun

Rest well my fren. It was you who taught me to rest adequately. :)

Getting adequate rest is as necessary, if not more, than getting your training in.

It always happens to me when I get into a good book too. All of a sudden it's nearing midnight and you meant to get to sleep at 10... 5 AM wakeup calls just won't work.

Oh, unfortunately it is not only about energy, it is also about time, work, family, still you made it great at the week end, you need to sleep!

Cliff - make sure you leave some Cliff time in your schedule, if you forget Cliff time, you'll find yourself missing more and more workouts!!

Good luck with your goal for the week though!

I thought training time is Cliff Time :)

Just like wildwill says... I plan each of my weeks out and I have to say it's really rare that I do everything in the exact order. I am always switching things around for my schedule or for my fitness needs, to get it in. Maybe look at your "perfect" schedule with a jaundiced eye... LIke, are you really going to do a bike drill at 9pm? Wow! Don't forget rest either. :)

When I miss a workout, I feel bad, but I don't get crazy trying to make it up. Without trying, I usually hammer the next one.

I'm glad you're going to your church meetings even though it means rearranging your training. Everyone has their own priorities and I applaud you for honoring your own. I have a hard time putting God first.
