Stomach Flu

Last Friday, I came back home and got a bad case of the stomach flu.

So this week is pretty much recovering from that. Had a lot of chicken noodle soup and apples. Those seem to be the only thing that my stomach can handle.

I haven't train much since I got back. With the stomach flu, I don't want to upset my stomach anymore than I should. Today I got on and did an hour on the trainer. I felt pretty good.

Will do a recap of Hong Kong in the next few days. Here is a pic taken the day before I flew back. We rented bikes and rode around for three and a half hours. It was great. It was the first time I this year I rode outdoors.

From left to right: Aunt and Uncle that I stayed with, Glad (my cousin), Stephenie (my oldest cousin's wife) and some stranger :)

I have ten weeks to train for Ironman. Enough said...

Stomach flu doesn't sound fun. Get rest and watch what you eat.

I was out with the flu 2 weeks ago. My training partner had it the exact same time. Another reason not to train too much when sick...exposure to more sick people! :) Hope you feel better soon.
