You really impress me with the deatil of your planning and preparation and the way you pay attention to what is going on.

I look at my running logs and all I have written is felt good, sick, good day, and so on. Maybe I need to work on details as well.robtherunnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05066981363064781863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5140065.post-1138311905733128322006-01-26T16:45:00.000-05:002006-01-26T16:45:00.000-05:00You really have to hand it to those elites. Not only do they go at incredible speeds, but to get to those speeds they have to really step up their output for the reasons you've stated above.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06590295954365525648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5140065.post-1138302328672749982006-01-26T14:05:00.000-05:002006-01-26T14:05:00.000-05:00Good points about resistance in the water and on t...Good points about resistance in the water and on the bike - worth considering, for sure! I followed his stuff for my IM and felt great coming off the bike in 6:06 and then surprised myself with a 3;46 run! Pacing is everything in the IM and it does carry over to 1/2's too.Stevenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14916812957723271553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5140065.post-1138290480211339612006-01-26T10:48:00.000-05:002006-01-26T10:48:00.000-05:00Sounds like a fun run Cliff. You can break it on the bike, but the run will bite you hard if you don't.

Thats 10% distance AND intensity too. Most people don't realize that part. 10k in 60 min and 11k in 50 the next is NOT 10%.Williamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02438035097300883046noreply@blogger.com
